This bug was the result of a recent incompatible change in Django:
http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/BackwardsIncompatibleChanges#Queryset-refactormerge

I have now fixed it in Browsershots:
http://trac.browsershots.org/changeset/2804

So shotfactory.py --verbose (or -v) now works again.
